Influenced by the Zen notion of the “empty cup,” these five vessels stand in stillness. They are unfilled, yet radiant — holding not absence, but possibility. The work reflects on the idea that growth requires space: space in the mind, space in the heart, space in the vessel. Each form waits, reminding us that what is empty is not lacking — it is ready.

Glass vessels are a recurring motif in my work. For me, they mirror the life force — vessels defined by what lives inside them. They hold, reflect, and continually change with the light.
